Description: The Students Grants-In-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (SGP-PA) was implemented in 2012 by the Commission on Higher Education, (CHED) with the help of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The SGP-PA is intended to provide support to students who would otherwise not be able to afford tertiary education. Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) has been implementing the SGP-PA for two academic years (2013-2013 and 2013-2014). This project sets out to look at the implementation of the program, assess the performance of the grantees and how they have coped in the last two years and identify the issues that the implementers have encountered with the program.
