The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) are cosponsoring a multistakeholder forum titled "Agricultural Development in Southern Tagalog: Issues and Opportunities", which will be held on June 27, 2018, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the SLSU main campus auditorium in Brgy. Kulapi, Lucban, Quezon Province. 

This event will be highlighted by presentation of studies conducted by PIDS, namely: (1) "Evaluation of the Impact of the Agricultural Insurance Program of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation on Agricultural Producers in Region IV-A" by Dr. Felino P. Lansigan and (2) "Review of High Value Agriculture in the Philippines with Comprehensive Subsectoral Focus: Livestock Industries" by Dr. Sonny N. Domingo.
