Foreign aid disbursements rise in 2011

DISBURSEMENTS OF foreign aid rose last year, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said, even as it noted a drop in total foreign lending commitment, a situation traced by an economist to the global slowdown and low absorptive capacity.
