Economic Policy Monitor

The Economic Policy Monitor (EPM) is the latest publication category of PIDS that began in 2011. It is an annual publication usually consisting of three chapters. The first chapter provides a description and analysis of the general macroeconomic conditions of the past year and economic prospects for the following year. It is followed in the second chapter by a discussion of recent policy measures in specific sectors and their implications. The third chapter features an in-depth analysis of an existing or a proposed policy and provides recommendations to address issues or policy gaps.
