The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), held a public seminar on "Macroeconomic and Financing for Development Issues" on July 24, 2018 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, at the PIDS Office in Quezon City.
Mr. Zheng Jian, economic affairs officer at the UNESCAP, presented the Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2018 and other selected ESCAP work related to the topic while Dr. Roehlano Briones, PIDS senior research fellow, talked about the long-term growth prospects for the Philippine economy.
