#PIDSInfoBits: Did you know that a large portion of online workers in the Philippines are working in jobs that have low value-added?
Around 25 percent are into clerical and data services. Only 14 percent are doing tasks that are related to software development and technology. This is quite low compared to the proportion of such workers in India, Pakistan, and Viet Nam, which is at 59 percent, 45 percent, and 52 percent, respectively.
