#PIDSInfoBits: Did you know that fertility rate in the Philippines has been declining?

The age-specific fertility rate (ASFR) of those aged 25 to 29 dropped the highest at about 20 births per hundred women over the course of five decades. In turn, the ASFR distribution has become more evenly distributed across age groups, compared to previous years when it was skewed towards younger women.
