40 Things (You Just Might Not Know) About PIDS (13/40): The first research project of PIDS

The first research project of PIDS was a United States Agency for International Development-cofunded project that started in April 1978. Known as the “Philippines: Economic and Social Impact Analysis/Women in Development Project (ESIA/WID Project)”, this research project aimed to improve the capability of the government in monitoring and measuring economic progress, social change, and the impact of development projects, including the effects on women as agents and beneficiaries of development.
