The monthly 91-day treasury bill rate slightly went up to 5.28 percent in October from 5.21 percent in September. This rate however, is lower compared to 9.77 in October last year.
Balance of payments for the first semester amounted to $1729 million surplus, a turnaround from the $606 million deficit for the same period last year. However balance of payments for the month of June amounted to a $160 million deficit.
