The country`s year-on-year headline inflation rate rose to 2.9 percent in October from 2.7 percent in September. The National Statistics Office (NSO) reported that the higher annual increase was mainly due to heavily-weighted food and non-alcoholic beverages, and clothing and footwear indices.
