This article presented the forecast for 1993 from different sectors. The Deputy-Director-General of the National Economic Development Authority projected an optimistic GDP and GNP based on "behind the scenes" factors. Meanwhile, the private sector's outlook projected a modest growth with investments taking the lead. For the government think-tank, economic activity will only grow at a modest pace led by investment, with a more stable macroeconomic and political environment combined with government spending making a more robust growth in 1994.
