The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) will hold a seminar to discuss IPA’s randomized controlled trial of the International Care Ministries’ (ICM) Ultra Poor Program on July 7, 2016, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at the PIDS Conference Room, 18th Floor, Three Cyberpod Centris, North Tower, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

Yale University Professor of Economics and IPA President Dean Karlan, the principal investigator of the study, will present the preliminary results on the effects of ICM’s health, livelihood, and values program. David Sutherland, chief executive officer of ICM, will also provide his perspective of the program. Yale University Professor James Choi will also be on hand to join the discussion.
