Hello, PIDS friends! Here's our #PIDSFactFriday for the week on financial inclusion in the country.

A PIDS study that looked into financial inclusion in the Philippines found that despite the increasing number of Filipino adults who own mobile phones and have access to the internet, only a few use these technologies to make financial transactions. Lack of awareness, lack of trust in technologies, unreliable internet connection, and preference to transact at the branch or through an automated teller machine are the reasons for not using them.
