FWD Life Insurance launched a new insurance plan offering life protection and additional benefits tailored to evolving Filipino lifestyles.
The “Set for Life Plus” investment-linked insurance targets young Filipinos pursuing diverse paths, including parenthood, entrepreneurship, and personal hobbies, the company said.
The Philippine Institute of Development Studies has reported that 30 percent to 40 percent of the employed workforce hold jobs unrelated to their educational background. Recent trends also indicate many young Filipinos are delaying marriage and children to focus on personal goals, FWD said.
The new plan features a guaranteed life protection with a start-up bonus of up to 25 percent, and a one-time “Guaranteed Milestone Increase” triggered by significant life events such as marriage, childbirth, graduation, property purchase, retirement, or the policy’s 10th anniversary.
Policyholders will also receive a “Loyalty Bonus” in the 10th year and every five years thereafter, and a “Premium Extension Bonus” of 2 percent when premiums are continued beyond the required period, FWD said.
