The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) conducted a public seminar on “Competition Issues on Land-Based Public Transportation Sector in Metro Manila” on February 6, 2019 (Wednesday), from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the PCC Board Room, 25th Floor, Vertis North Corporate Center Tower 1 in Quezon City.
Part of the mandate of the PCC is to conduct, publish, and disseminate studies relating to competition in various sectors. Together with the PIDS, the PCC has engaged the services of Dr. Enrico L. Basilio to conduct a market scoping study focusing on the land transport sector. Dr. Basilio presented the results of the study in this seminar.
