The presenter is Annie Duflo, executive director of IPA. She will largely be talking about the relevance of impact evaluation (IE) in policymaking . Ms. Duflo has a wealth of experience implementing and managing IE projects especially randomized evaluations. She will highlight three cases in her presentation.

As executive director, she leads the strategic directions of IPA, the implementation of its strategic plan, and the day-to-day operations. Previously, she served as IPA's Research Director where she managed IPA’s research network, staff capacity-building, and new project development. She also played a key role in the scaling up of successful programs with particular focus on education.

This is a technical seminar and only representatives from NEDA and selected Philippine departments (DOH, DepEd, DSWD, DBM, DOF) are invited.
