A PIDS study found that there is a need for a monitoring mechanism to evaluate the performance of the government’s service attachés. A performance monitoring system will allow the Department of Foreign Affairs to determine the specific contributions of the service attachés and gauge whether their outputs are relevant to their purpose for deployment.
