For this week, our buzzword is "transit system”.
It refers to a type of public transportation composed of bus, subway, and/or rail networks, and other transportation modes, that facilitate the movement of large numbers of people, typically within a metropolitan area.

A PIDS study found that the three mass rail transit lines in Metro Manila, namely LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3, are severely congested. Certain urban rail transit studies recommend a target average load factor* of 60 percent for optimal capacity utilization. Between 2010 and 2017, the load factor for the three Metro Manila rail transit lines reached as high as 90 percent, indicating severe rail congestion.
* Load factor measures the level of crowding in a transportation service.
