On June 18, 2025, the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA Philippines) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance policy research studies on adolescent health and well-being.

PIDS President Aniceto C. Orbeta, Jr. and UNFPA Philippines Officer-in-Charge Rita Magawa led the ceremonial signing at the PIDS office in Quezon City, joined by officials from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including Deputy Head of Mission Dr. Moya Collett, Second Secretary Abigail Bakker, and Senior Program Officer Jore Anne Rico-de Leon. 

Also in attendance were PIDS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Valerie Gilbert Ulep, PIDS Officer-in-Charge for Research Services Department Christine Ruth Salazar, UNFPA DIAP Programme Analyst Dr. Charl Andrew Bautista, UNFPA Programme Coordinator Ravina Madrid, UNFPA Programme Assistant Renzelle De Guzman, and UNFPA Media and Communication Analyst Kisha Marielle Beringuela.

This endeavor is also made possible by the University of San Carlos-Office of Population Studies as an implementing partner of the cohort study.
