This is the inaugural issue of the SCF Project Updates, the official semestral newsletter of the project "Bridging the gap between between seasonal climate forecasts (SCFs) and decisionmakers in agriculture" funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). The project's key objective is to identify and close the gap between the potential and practical application of SCFs to agricultural systems and policies in the Philippines and Australia. The newsletter aims to keep people informed of the progress of this ACIAR-sponsored project.
