The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Philippines Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) held a joint forum titled "Growth in Developing Asia and the Philippine Economic Outlook" last October 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Carlos P. Romulo Hall of the NEDA sa Makati Building, Makati City.

The forum focused on the latest global and regional economic outlook, in particular the recent market turbulence, and its implications for the Philippine economy. The forum also covered the country`s standing challenges in translating the strong growth performance into a more inclusive growth that can benefit the poorer segments of the population.
