The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) will hold a public webinar on February 29, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:30 am, via Zoom.

This virtual event will feature the PIDS study “Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education for All: How Does the Philippines Fare and What Needs to Be Done?” authored by PIDS Senior Research Fellow Jose Ramon Albert, Research Analyst Mika Muñoz, former PIDS staff Jana Flor Vizmanos and Angelo Hernandez, former Philippine Business for Education Executive Director Lovelaine Basillote, and De La Salle University - School of Economics Associate Dean Jason Alinsunurin. The study provided a detailed examination of the progress of the Philippines in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) on quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. It set the stage by outlining the Philippine educational policy landscape, including its legal and institutional frameworks. The study’s comprehensive review offered valuable insights and practical recommendations for stakeholders to ensure the Philippines fulfills its commitment to quality education for all by 2030.
