The 26th Network of East Asian Think Tanks Country Coordinators Meeting (NEAT CCM) was held on March 30 to April 1, 2017 in Seoul, Korea. It was convened by the Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies and was attended by members of NEAT Country Coordinators from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam, PR. China, Japan, and Republic of Korea. NEAT Philippines is represented by the PIDS, with the PIDS President as the Country Coordinator. This meeting was attended by Ms. Renee Ajayi, PIDS Director for Project Services.

The Network of East Asian Think Tanks (NEAT), established in September 2002, consists of think tanks designated by the ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Governments. NEAT is a mechanism for research and academic exchange, and a platform for the second-track diplomacy in the regional cooperation among 10+3" countries in East Asia (www.neat.org.ph).
