As the Philippines continues to promote foreign investment and plays host to multinational corporation (MNC) affiliates, are there any significant positive spillover effects on domestic industries arising from these foreign investment inflows? This Policy Note addresses this question focusing primarily on the spillover effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on labor productivity and employment of domestic manufacturing industries.
